Virginia recently moved to Denver from Illinois, drawn to Colorado by the beautiful mountains, the weather, and Denver’s dog-friendly culture. She has been working professionally with dogs since 2011, as a dog walker, sitter, doggie daycare handler, and dog trainer. Her warm, calm demeanor has also served her well in client-facing roles in the restaurant and fitness industries.
Virginia graduated from DePaul University with a degree in psychology; her education and background allow her to easily connect with her human and canine clients alike. She uses her skills regularly as a trainer to teach her own dogs new behaviors, reduce problem behaviors, and how to not only cope with life, but to enjoy it to the fullest. She has even taught her blind dog Marnie to come, sit, lie down, and walk nicely on a leash!
She was drawn to Pavlov’s multi-method approach to training and is currently training dogs in Pavlov’s board and Train program, as well as providing in-home lessons.
When not working with dogs, Virginia enjoys photographing her personal dogs, and enjoying the outdoors.
