Caitlin – Primary Dog Trainer

 Professional Credentials

Meet Caitlin! Caitlin caught Pavlov’s attention through her dedicated work raising foster puppies for Paws With a Cause (PAWS), an organization specializing in training service dogs for individuals with hearing impairments, children with autism, seizure response, and wheelchair assistance.

During her time with PAWS, Caitlin raised puppies from the age of 8 weeks until they were just over a year old. Her primary training goals focused on desensitizing her dogs to various sights and sounds, taking them with her wherever she went. Additionally, she was responsible for instilling basic obedience that needed to be strictly followed.

Caitlin successfully trained three dogs through PAWS. Her first dog is now a registered Wheelchair Assistance Dog. Her second was successfully trained in both Arson Detection and Electronics Detection. Her final dog was also successfully trained in Arson Detection, specializing in helicopters for transport.

At Pavlov, Caitlin is one of our Puppy Preschool instructors.

Caitlin recently moved to Colorado from Michigan. When she’s not at work, she enjoys exploring Colorado with her yellow lab, Arrow. We are excited to have Caitlin on our team!
