Continuing Education

Pavlov offers continuing education.  Graduates may return for additional boarding while practicing two to three tasks per week.  A one-hour consultation happens with one of our service dog trainers.

Continuing Ed Menu:

• Find your keys, or a commonly lost item
• Circle you (to create personal space in crowds)
• Retrieve an item
• Apply deep-pressure therapy and leg elevation
• Interrupt unconscious scratching
• Alert to your doorbell or fire alarm
• Tuck (tuck under an airplane seat, or a park bench.)
• Down between your legs
• Close and open a door or drawer
• Interrupt your unconscious movements
• Push buttons with nose or foot
• Press the door open buttons at stores
• Relocate around your body into heel position (finish)
• Place paws up onto a surface
• Respond to hand signals
• Switch heel position
• Help with hallucinations
• Learn commands in: German, French, or Harry Potter Spells.

Party Tricks: jump through a hoop, spin, bow, shake, wave, bounce, get in or on a box, and army crawl.
