The standard Aussie is the only size recognized as an Australian Shepherd through the American Kennel Club (AKC). The mini size was officially recognized in 2015 through the AKC as a Miniature American Shepherd.

Our trainer Chelsea gave us amazing updates during Twyla’s 3 week stay. I really appreciated the daily social media updates and seeing her socialize with other dogs. We’ve already enjoyed extremely less stressful walks on a daily basis, since her board and train. Following her 3 week stay Chelsea has done follow up lessons with us to make sure we have all the tools we need to better communicate with Twyla. Chelsea has been so attentive.
