I would highly recommend Pavlov Dog Training. Our puppy was 11 months old when we had him there for three week board and train. He had just finished up chewing our new furniture when we signed him up. I love that I could see him in playgroup every day and Had regular communication with Caitlin. He came home so well behaved thanks to the staff there and especially Caitlin. Our little guy is listening doing as he's told and generally just an amazing addition to our family. I cannot praise this training program enough. I don't even think five stars is enough.
We enrolled our 6.5 month labradoodle Nova in the 2-week board and train with Pavlov and it was worth every penny! Caitlin is our trainer and showed so much love to our puppy while in her care. With Nova still being so young I was worried and anxious about leaving her given she is still so impressionable. All my worry was for nothing and yes Nova still remembered me-- a silly worry I had that I am sure others reading this might also have. We just finished up our final hand off training and Nova was so excited to see Caitlin! We continue to work with Nova on her commands daily, but it isn't intrusive at all. We practice healing on our normal walks and park it when reading as a family. This investment just solidified that our already awesome pup, is going to be able to show everyone else just how awesome she is with her manners! Huge plus is I now can board with benefits whenever I travel without worry. Thank you Caitlin & Pavlov!
We recently had our 1-year-old golden retriever, Henry, participate in Pavlov's 3 week Board and Train program, and we couldn't be more grateful for Caitlin and the entire Pavlov team.Henry can be especially sensitive to new people, places, and things, and while he's the absolute sweetest boy, he lacked the tools to confidently go on walks and even step outside without going into panic mode. Through the 3 weeks with Caitlin, and the follow-up sessions thereafter, Caitlin established the groundwork to significantly improve Henry's walking abilities and overall confidence. All of our friends and family have been completely blown away by his progress. We trust Caitlin and the Pavlov team entirely and would recommend them to anyone looking for professional dog training — they are amazing communicators, highly organized, caring, and have a system that actually works. We've also taken advantage of the boarding with benefits option when we've gone out of town, and it's truly a game changer to bring Henry somewhere that we all know, love and trust!Thank you so much, Pavlov!
We cannot say enough great things about Pavlov. We took our 1 year old doberman, Biscuit, to the Board & Train Obedience Level 1 to work on leash manners and responding to commands. Our trainer, Quinn, was amazing! She communicated with us, sent pictures & videos, and was so helpful at our home & park training sessions. You could tell Quinn cared for and loved Biscuit. She even extended her training a few days when trainers were out sick. Biscuit's transformation truly changed our lives. We are able to actually enjoy our walks and our home is no longer chaos! We will definitely be returning to Pavlov in the future!
I cannot say enough good things about Pavlov! When I initially rescued a dog when I was 20 years old, one of my biggest regrets is that I had never gotten him properly trained and we dealt/managed/coped with his behavioral issues his entire life. When I got Griswold (the noodle dog in the photos), I swore to myself I was going to get him professionally trained so that we could both live higher qualities of life.I am a veterinarian and while I am great at managing medical cases, I do not excel at dog training- the hows, the whys, the whens, etc. Quinn was the primary trainer for Griswold and she did an amazing job at teaching him how to be an upstanding gentleman of society AND also teaching me how to maintain his manners. I do not think that Griswold would have excelled had I also not been trained on how to continue to instill his lessons. They are reasonably priced for the level of services they provide and the quality of care the dogs receive. Griswold was exhausted from constant mental stimulation and physical exercise after playing with the other dogs, which was a wonderful break for me!I will recommend them to anyone seeking out dog training. I know Quinn can easily handle Griswold as well as more difficult behavioral cases. I appreciate all that she, and the rest of the team at Pavlov, do for our canine friends!
Response from the owner: Quinn talks a lot about your cattle dog mix, Griswold. Thank you for trusting us with your sweet boy, Kelsey.
After researching hours and visiting several training facilities in the greater Denver area, I had finally come across a training facility that I truly felt comfortable leaving my 1 year old lab (Goose) at. Being skeptical of other board and training facilities, the team at Pavlov was kind enough to give me a tour of the facility prior to signing any paper work and I found this location to be perfect as they implement more of a "home-like" environment, which was a very unique approach compared to the other options I was looking at. I felt very comfortable leaving my sweet boy with the team at Pavlov!Goose had worked with Jason and was enrolled in the board and training program for two weeks. Jason would provide me with detailed bi-weekly updates that often included videos of his progress (which was fantastic to see)! He went from a puppy that had always needed to be glued-to-the-hip and did not have the best of listening skills, to now an obedient best friend who has mastered all the essential commands you will ever need a dog to have. Jason was always very helpful and clear when it came to follow-up lessons after the board and training. The results were so great and I never thought this dog would ever be able to eventually be off-leash trained, but here we are now!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Pavlov Dog Training for anyone in the greater Denver area! Keep up the great work!!!
Response from the owner: Glad you found the home boarding option valuable. 🙂
