Former K9 client, Sebastian, is a part-time staff member at Streets Hope, a Denver shelter which cares for women leaving the sex sale & human trafficking business.
One day a week Sebastian accompanies his guardian, Kaya, (a professional counselor) to their weekly trauma group. And despite his easy-going presence, Sebastian has his own insecurities; people in dimly light doorways cause him anxiety.
Although his job description is to help women in the shelter, women at the shelter train him. When a new person appears in the doorway, he gets a treat. And while Sebastian heals from his insecurities, he helps women overcome their own.
